Emma Holly launched Restore Therapy training in 2017 with a passion to make a difference. As UK’s leading scar therapy educator, she has been driving change within healthcare equipping professionals with skills to improve patient outcomes. Working with a team of UK tutors and international partners we deliver expert-led practical workshops and online courses suitable for a range of therapy, movement and healthcare professionals.
Restore Scar Therapy is a non-invasive, holistic approach to scars developed by Emma Holly. Using evidence-informed techniques and self-care to help improve scar tissue and reduce common symptoms. Our comprehensive training programs have been completed by over 2,000 health professionals. We provide you with the expertise to treat physical recovery and support emotional well-being. Learn to assess, deliver and adapt treatments that can make a significant difference to people with new or historic scars.
Tutors
Janna Hawkins
Janna is a experience Physiotherapist with over 20 years experience. She has a special interest in Cancer Rehabilitation, Lymphoedema therapy and Pelvic Health and Scar therapy.
In 2023 Janna completed the Restore Oncology Scar Specialist Certification. Janna completed the Advanced Theory Course in 2024. In 2025 Janna completed the Restore C-Section Certification.
Janna is the Restore Oncology Scar and Intro to Restore Scar therapy Tutor for New Zealand.
Zoe Porter is an experienced Restore Scar Therapy Practitioner based in Hawke’s Bay. She brings a multidisciplinary and client-centred approach to scar recovery and rehabilitation.
Zoe works with a wide range of scar presentations, including post-surgical, oncology-related, caesarean and abdominal scars, and complex or persistent scars that continue to affect movement, pain, swelling, and overall function. Her clinical approach integrates manual lymphatic drainage and scar therapy to support meaningful, long-term outcomes.
Zoe is the Restore Scar Therapy Practitioner Tutor for New Zealand.
